Autotether, Inc. of Chester, Connecticut is a recipient of the 2011 Platinum Connecticut Quality Improvement Award. “Even in an uncertain economy, Autotether has shown that forward-looking organizations continue to introduce and bring to market new products and services", says Sheila Carmine, Founder and Executive Director of the 24-year old Connecticut Quality Improvement Award Partnership, Inc.
When told about this year’s CQIA Innovation Prize recipients, Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman wrote, “These are exactly the kind of businesses – and the kind of people behind them – that our economy needs right now, and Governor Malloy and I are committed to helping them and CQIA succeed.”
The Connecticut Quality Improvement Award Partnership, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Connecticut organization, founded in 1987 as America’s first state level quality award using the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality for Performance Excellence criteria.
Lt. Governor Wyman added, “The CQIA award program is a great way to showcase some of the incredible business talent that we have in Connecticut.”
The CQIA’s 24th Annual Conference on Quality and Innovation will take place at the University of Hartford on Wednesday, September 20, 2011. This year’s conference will be fast paced and insightful, exploring questions that are of value to companies seeking to innovate.
